SSA Group was founded in 2003 by Mark Skinner, a degree qualified construction professional who built up his experience in both the construction industry and then with an established construction recruitment company, managing their London branch. Mark recognised there was a place in the industry for a recruitment specialist focused on brilliant basics. The market was filled with consultants that targeted volume and not necessarily their client’s best interests at heart. Mark set about disrupting the sector with the birth of SSA Group. He quickly won clients with his client centric and transparent approach and began creating an entrepreneurial culture developing other leaders who have championed their own success in the Group. They’ve gone on to open successful offices across the globe whilst always embodying SSA Group’s original values of cohesion, integrity and passion about the industry.
